What If You're More Powerful Than You Think?

My conversation with Caroline Cory about intuition, human potential, and why the energy you bring into a room may matter more than the words you say.

Have you ever walked into a meeting and immediately felt that something was off?

Nobody said anything wrong. The conversation seemed fine. But something in your gut told you to pay attention.

Or maybe you’ve had the opposite experience. You met someone, felt an instant connection, and somehow knew this was a person you were meant to know.

I’ve had both.

And I’ve always been fascinated by how much we seem to know before we can explain how we know it.

That’s one reason I was so excited to sit down with Caroline Cory on Potential to Powerhouse.

A film I couldn’t stop talking about

Caroline is an award-winning filmmaker, author, and researcher who explores consciousness and the limits of human potential.

When I first watched her documentary Superhuman: The Invisible Made Visible in 2020, I was so blown away that I started inviting friends over for watch parties.

I wanted other people to experience what I had experienced.

Her newest film, Superhuman: The Rebirth, takes that exploration even further, including some extraordinary experiments that Caroline believes challenge what we understand about human ability.

Now, I’ll tell you, some of what we discussed is far outside conventional science. The claims are fascinating, but they aren’t all established scientific facts.

Still, I love conversations that make us curious enough to ask bigger questions.

And this one certainly did.

The energy you bring into the room

One of my favorite parts of our conversation had nothing to do with extraordinary abilities.

It was about something every entrepreneur can relate to.

I told Caroline about a founder I’d recently helped prepare for a big pitch.

Her words were good. Her presentation made sense. She had clearly done the work.

But something was missing.

She was walking into that meeting already expecting to hear no.

You could see it in her face. You could hear it in her voice. And you could feel it in how she presented herself.

I told her we needed to work on how she was showing up, not just what she was saying.

Because here’s something I’ve learned after years of building businesses:

You can have the right words and still send the wrong message.

Confidence, fear, belief, and self-doubt all influence how we carry ourselves. And people notice.

What if the answer starts with a reset?

Caroline shared something that really stayed with me.

When life gets messy, most of us try to think our way out of the problem.

We tell ourselves everything is fine. We repeat positive statements. We come up with a hundred reasons why we shouldn’t feel afraid.

I do this myself.

But sometimes, no matter how much we try to convince our minds, the feeling doesn’t go away.

Caroline’s approach begins with something much simpler: getting quiet, breathing, and giving yourself a moment to feel grounded before deciding what comes next.

I loved that reminder!!

We don’t always need another strategy. Sometimes we need enough space to see the situation clearly.

And trust ourselves to make the next decision.

Come listen to this one

We went much deeper than business in this conversation.

We talked about intuition, the experiences that shaped Caroline’s work, the remarkable stories behind her films, and what might be possible when we question the limits we’ve placed on ourselves.

Some of it may challenge what you believe. Some of it may surprise you.

But I think you’ll walk away with a question worth asking:

What could change in your life if you stopped assuming you’ve already reached your full potential?

And I’d love to know: Have you ever trusted your gut about a person or a business decision and later realized you were right?

Tell me in the comments. I have a feeling we all have a story.

Tracy

P.S. Caroline’s new film, Superhuman: The Rebirth, has a limited online release beginning October 30. If you’re curious about the experiences and experiments we discussed, you can learn more at Superhuman2.com. Some of what you’ll see is truly thought-provoking.
